Earrings - Huggies

Huggies are the small hoops that hug the lobe, close enough to forget and refined enough to notice. Ours run from about 12 to 20 mm in pavé, solitaire, pearl and birthstone versions, in 14k gold plating, silver and select solid gold. Wear one pair alone, or place a huggie above a stud for an ear that looks collected rather than planned. Each product page lists the diameter and the thickness in millimeters, so the proportion is never a surprise.

DRAE COLLECTION iconic earrings

Answers on studs, hoops and huggies, gold and silver, heavy earrings and returns, so you can choose your DRAE COLLECTION earrings with confidence.

  • Studs sit flat at the lobe on a post. Hoops are circles that frame the lobe, and our larger styles reach about 60 mm across. Huggies are small hoops, usually 12 to 20 mm, that hug the lobe and sit close to the ear.

  • Most are 14k gold plated, and each product page states the exact material. Our Solid Gold collection is 14k solid gold with lab-grown diamonds, made to order in about two business weeks.

  • Yes. Mixing metals is a deliberate look, especially when one metal repeats elsewhere in your outfit or jewelry. We also make mixed metal earrings, so the pairing is already done for you.

  • Our supportive push-backs are earring lifters designed for big, heavy stud earrings. They are sold separately, in silver and gold.
